London restaurants owned by Jeremy King, Wetherspoons, Soho House and ATG Theatres prohibit use, asking wearers to remove them. Meta says a blinking LED activates during recording and cannot be disabled. Concerns follow reports of people filmed without consent. However, some chefs like Tom Kerridge welcome the glasses, and Meta stresses privacy features are built in.
