Trump Attacks CNN's Kaitlan Collins at Ohio Rally

President Donald Trump used a Saturday night rally speech in Ohio to attack CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, who was present, claiming she "never smiles" and calling her an "unhappy person," prompting the crowd to boo her. Trump repeated the criticism of Collins, 34, and has previously labeled her "stupid," "nasty," "crazy," and "average." Collins appeared to dismiss the attacks, displaying a mug reading "America Needs Nasty Women" during her show this week, while social media users mocked Trump's remarks. The White House Rapid Response Team defended the rally, tweeting that "Ohio is not happy with Fake news CNN and Kaitlan Collins." Trump has a history of harshly attacking female journalists, including a 2015 debate exchange with Megyn Kelly over his derogatory comments about women.
