Trump approval rises to 40% in Marquette poll; inflation top concern

A Marquette Law School poll finds inflation and cost of living are Americans' top concern, while Trump's approval rose to 40% and Supreme Court approval is 47%. Conducted July 22–29, the poll shows 35% cite inflation as most important issue, followed by economy at 15%. Trump's approval rose two points from 38%; Supreme Court approval has stayed below 50% since November 2025, with a sharp partisan divide. Additionally, 61% expect Trump's policies to increase inflation. Congressional GOP approval (37%) exceeds Democrats' (34%), while Democrats lead the generic ballot only 46% to 44%.
