TRAI orders Truecaller to stop labeling official calls as spam

TRAI has ordered Truecaller to stop labeling official calls as spam. This aims to prevent important calls from being blocked by spam warnings. The directive targets 140 and 1600 series calls, used for telemarketing and banking. TRAI stated user reports were blocking legitimate business calls. Truecaller claims over 51 million calls from these series now go unanswered daily due to the new rules.
