Teenager from a small Ceará community earns spots in four public universities

A 17-year-old from a small rural community in Ceará was accepted into four public universities. André Pereira Veras will study medicine at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), his chosen path, after excelling in the national exam. He also secured spots in psychology and nursing programs. He comes from Limoeiro dos Pompeus, a district with approximately 850 residents, and studied in public schools, demonstrating dedication to his education.
