Teen injured in early morning shooting in Brookline

An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting early this morning in Brookline. Police received reports of gunfire around 1:30 a.m. and found shell casings on New Terrace Road. The victim later arrived at Brigham and Women's Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip. His injuries are not life-threatening. Police are investigating the incident and interviewing witnesses. A vehicle with possible ballistic evidence was also found at the hospital.
