Taraba governor and Tompolo back Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas and High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) have rallied support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. The call was made during the launch of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s grassroots campaign in Jalingo, Taraba State. Tompolo, represented by High Chief Kestin Pondi, argued Tinubu’s reforms need more time to deliver benefits, while Kefas pledged massive support, citing ongoing federal projects in the state. The event included the donation of 25 campaign vehicles, generators, and speakers. National Coordinator Sunday Asuku said the group aims to extend mobilisation efforts for Tinubu and the governor.
