Swiss Post will raise letter prices from January 2027: standard A-Post letters cost 1.40 francs instead of 1.20, while B-Post rises to 1.10 francs. The agreement with the price watchdog covers January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2029. Letter weight categories also change: standard letters now cover up to 50 grams instead of 100, capturing over 95 percent of current standard mail. Parcel list prices remain unchanged. A new volume letter for small goods costs 4.20 francs, below the requested 4.50. Swiss Post also dropped planned increases for mail forwarding, redirection, and customs clearance services.
