Surrey Economic Growth Fund awards nearly £2 million to 28 businesses

Surrey businesses will receive nearly £2 million in grants to stimulate economic growth and create jobs across the county. Twenty-eight diverse organizations, including vineyards, biotech, manufacturing, and AI firms, were awarded funding from the Surrey Economic Growth Fund, launched by the county council in April. The grants are expected to contribute £9 million to the county's economy and secure or generate 300 jobs, with recipients like Aerosensor using funds for new facilities.
