Sunny Deol kept shooting Ikka after his father died, co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh reveals

Sunny Deol continued shooting the film Ikka despite his father Dharmendra's death, displaying professionalism that co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh said taught her a valuable lesson. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shaikh recalled he came to the final schedule after Dharmendra had just died, instead of asking for time off. She praised his discipline, and also learned from Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna. Dharmendra died on November 24, 2025, before his 90th birthday. Ikka, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, streams on Netflix and stars Deol, Khanna, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, and Shaikh.
