SK hynix and Sandisk have unveiled High Bandwidth Flash (HBF), a new open-standard memory technology merging NAND and HBM features for data centers, aiming to address bandwidth and capacity challenges in AI infrastructure. HBF offers up to 512 GB capacity and 0.4 to 3 TB/s bandwidth, positioned between HBM and SSDs.
