Samira abducts Joélly's newborn baby immediately after a clandestine birth. Joélly, in distress, had accepted Samira's help after a car accident. Joélly's father, Jorginho, races to a secret clinic after learning of a deal Samira made. He confronts Samira and Edilberto as the baby is born. Raul, involved in the deal, informs Joélly's mother, Gerluce, of the situation. Samira cruelly tells Raul he will never see the child.
