Russian artillery strikes injure mother and children in Kherson

A Russian artillery strike in Kherson hit a car carrying a mother and her children, resulting in their hospitalization. The incident occurred around 10 AM on October 4, 2025, when Russian forces allegedly shelled a civilian vehicle in the Central district. The mother and her two children, aged 8 and 17, sustained injuries. The children suffered severe blast and head injuries, fractures, and shrapnel wounds. The 38-year-old mother also sustained blast and head trauma, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds. An investigation into a war crime has been initiated.
