Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra: Ram Temple CEO who planned Operation Sindoor strikes

Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, the first CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, was a top planner of Operation Sindoor and received the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal for his role in the 2025 military confrontation with Pakistan. Mishra, who retired as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command, led planning for strikes on terror targets in Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people. He helped select targets and weapons to minimize collateral damage during the four-day conflict ending May 10, 2025. With over 3,000 flying hours and nearly four decades of service, Mishra held numerous command roles including test pilot and air base commander. He accompanied Prime Minister Modi to Adampur air base after the operation to counter Pakistan's disinformation campaign.
