President honors 17 children with national award for exceptional achievements

On December 26, 2024, President Droupadi Murmu awarded the Prime Minister’s National Award to 17 children for their exceptional achievements in various fields. The awardees, including seven boys and ten girls, were chosen from 14 states and union territories. The awards recognize accomplishments in art and culture, bravery, innovation, science and technology, social service, sports, and environment. Notable recipients include a young author, a Sufi singer, and a cybersecurity entrepreneur. The President highlighted the importance of recognizing children's talents and fostering their potential. She praised the awardees for their courage and contributions, which serve as examples for others.
