Pakistan kills 15 TTP militants crossing from Afghanistan in North Waziristan

Pakistan's military said Thursday its security forces killed 15 terrorists attempting to cross the Afghan border into North Waziristan, following a 36-hour engagement. The operation was confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The ISPR stated the militants, linked to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were detected on the night of August 31 and engaged "professionally and with patience." Weapons and ammunition were recovered during a subsequent sanitisation operation. The military reiterated its stance that the Afghan Taliban regime has failed to prevent cross-border terrorism, and vowed to continue counter-terrorism operations under the "Azm e Istehkam" vision. This incident follows Monday's killing of 12 terrorists in Chagai.
