OurSky and PlaneWave Instruments merge to launch Observable Space
OurSky and PlaneWave Instruments have merged to form Observable Space, a new company focused on software and hardware for space observation. This merger aims to enhance capabilities in the commercial space sector. Observable Space plans to provide software-defined telescopes and a platform for real-time space data. The company also intends to create the largest telescope network globally. The new company has worked with over 1,000 clients, including NASA and the U.S. Space Force. Observable Space has raised $11 million from various investors and employs around 100 people across its locations.
