Ontario recalls pistachio products for salmonella

Eight pistachio products, including baklava and ice cream, were recalled in Ontario due to possible salmonella contamination. The affected items were sold at Shamyat Cuisine in Mississauga between June 1 and June 30. Consumers are advised to discard or return the products. This recall is part of a larger national investigation into salmonella linked to pistachios and pistachio products, with 62 cases reported across Canada.
