Odisha University of Health Sciences to introduce six-month course on medico-legal issues and hospital management

Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS) will launch a six-month certificate course on medico-legal issues and hospital management. This course aims to enhance doctors' knowledge beyond clinical practice, focusing on legal aspects and hospital administration. Doctors from state-run hospitals will attend classes two days a month and take an exam at the end. The curriculum will cover medical laws, hospital finance, and communication skills, addressing gaps in current medical training. The course will include practical sessions and workshops, designed with input from experts in various fields. It is set to begin in the upcoming academic session.
