Nikos Pliakis awaits denial of political movement involving Maria Karystianou
Nikos Pliakis, whose twin daughters and niece died in the Tempi train crash, expressed distress over communications expert Nikos Karahalios's claims of collaborating with Maria Karystianou on a new political movement. Karahalios stated he has met Karystianou multiple times to organize a "movement for purification," suggesting she could be a political force. Pliakis, however, is awaiting an official denial. Pliakis previously reacted negatively to the idea of Karystianou forming a party named "KYMA" (Wave), stating "the sea makes me sick," referencing Karahalios's earlier social media posts about the movement.
