A new species of long-necked dinosaur, Uragasaurus kalasinensis, has been discovered in northeastern Thailand. This mamenchisaurid sauropod lived during the Late Jurassic period. Its discovery marks the first formally named mamenchisaurid from Thailand, expanding the known geographic range of this dinosaur family.
