MotoGP agrees new two-year deal with Silverstone for British GP

MotoGP and Silverstone signed a two-year contract extension, securing the British Grand Prix on the calendar through at least 2028. The deal was announced on the eve of the 2026 British GP, which opens the season's second half. MotoGP calls the UK a key market; last year's race attracted nearly 100,000 fans, and the extension supports long-term investment. Silverstone has hosted MotoGP annually since 2010, with only 2018 and 2020 cancelled for external reasons. The circuit has produced 11 different winners in the last 11 British Grands Prix.
