Minnesota Wild acquires Michael McCarron from Nashville Predators

The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Michael McCarron from the Nashville Predators. The Wild traded a 2028 second-round draft pick for the player. McCarron, 30, has 12 points in 59 games this season for Nashville. He also has 73 penalty minutes and a minus-15 rating. McCarron was originally a first-round pick in 2013. He previously played for the Montreal Canadiens and represented the U.S. at the World Championship.
