Mata'an Creek temporary embankment construction provides initial flood protection

A temporary embankment on the Mata'an Creek has been completed, offering initial flood protection. The embankment was built by the Water Resources Agency with support from private companies and the military, following severe flooding that damaged existing defenses. Further reinforcements and dredging are planned to restore and enhance the creek's flood control capacity by 2026.
