Mar del Plata transfers Minella stadium and sports center to private management

Mar del Plata's Jose Maria Minella stadium and Islas Malvinas Sports Center have been handed over to private company Minella Stadium SA for 30 years. The agreement includes a commitment from the company to renovate both venues and construct new facilities. The municipality stated that all improvements will remain municipal property after the concession ends. The concession aims to host 80-95 annual events, including sports, cultural, and recreational activities, expected to boost employment and the local economy.
