Manitoba reports illnesses linked to pistachio salmonella outbreak

Manitoba has reported three illnesses linked to a national salmonella outbreak associated with pistachios. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued nearly 70 recall notices for pistachio products across Canada. Consumers are advised to check for and discard or return affected items. Nationally, 155 illnesses and 24 hospitalizations have been reported, with no deaths. The CFIA continues its investigation into the ongoing outbreak.
