Man sets himself on fire outside ex's home in Cinisello, suffering critical burns

A 35-year-old man set himself on fire outside his ex-girlfriend's home in Cinisello Balsamo and is in critical condition with extensive burns. He doused himself with flammable liquid inside his car parked outside her house shortly after 12:30 a.m. Firefighters found him on fire beside the vehicle. He was taken to Niguarda hospital in Milan with burns over 70% of his body. The woman told carabinieri she had been subjected to stalking for about a year but had never filed a complaint. He has deep burns to his head, neck, chest, and upper limbs.
