Leaf cafe closes after 15 years

Leaf on Bold Street, a popular independent cafe, will close its doors on September 21 after 15 years of operation. The closure marks the end of an era for the beloved venue. Founded in 2010, Leaf became a staple on Bold Street, known for its teas, food, live music, and community events. The team is selling the lease to a new operator to spend more time with their families. The building at 65-67 Bold Street has a long history, previously housing the Yamen Café over a century ago, which was noted for its specialty coffees and social gatherings. Leaf will continue to operate its other Liverpool locations.
