Kyiv's Central Railway Station construction in a 1930 photograph

A rare 1930 photograph reveals the construction of Kyiv's Central Railway Station. The station, designed by Oleksandr Verbytskyi and Pavlo Alioshyn, was built between 1927 and 1932 to accommodate growing passenger traffic. The building, a blend of Ukrainian baroque and constructivism, was later restored after WWII damage.
