Kyiv will not shorten its curfew for Christmas and New Year's Eve. The Kyiv City Military Administration stated no discussions or proposals have been made to alter the current restrictions. The decision to maintain the curfew is due to security risks associated with ongoing Russian aggression and attacks on civilian infrastructure. Changes are not planned for public transport either. Metro stations will remain accessible as shelters during air alerts throughout the night. Public transport will operate on its usual schedule.
