Karachi court orders exhumation of Mir Raza Ali's body after autopsy dispute

A Karachi court allowed exhumation of IBA graduate Mir Raza Ali's body, found last month with a chest gunshot wound, after disputes over his autopsy. Ali's father sought the order amid controversy between the police surgeon and investigators over alleged loopholes in the medico-legal report on the post-mortem examination. The body was discovered in bushes in Gulistan-i-Jauhar. The court directed the police surgeon and Sindh health secretary to form a medico-legal board for exhumation and inform the court of the schedule as soon as possible.
