Jind farmers reclaim 12,000 acres after unauthorized land sale cancelled

Jind authorities cancelled a 12,000-acre industrial land acquisition after discovering land was listed for sale without owner consent, including deceased farmers' property. The government portal e-Bhoomi was used to list land from 12 villages for the proposed Industrial Model Township (IMT) without landowners' knowledge. All previous registrations are now void. The district administration vows to restart the process with strict farmer consent and transparency, while farmers demand action against those responsible for the unauthorized listings.
