Iran anticipates 15-20 million mourners for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's three-day funeral following his death in a February 28th US-Israeli bombing. The state television announced funeral processions in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad, with the capital's ceremony expected to last at least 24 hours. Khamenei was killed during operations named "Epic Fury" and "Roaring Lion." His wife also died from injuries sustained in the attack. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, was named the designated successor on March 8th.
