Influenza outbreaks close schools in Oshu City and other Iwate Prefecture locations

Influenza outbreaks have led to school closures across multiple elementary, middle, and high schools in Oshu City and other areas. A total of 524 individuals have been affected by the flu, resulting in temporary closures and grade-level suspensions in Iwate Prefecture and Morioka City. These closures represent the 46th instance of influenza-related school closures this season, a significant increase compared to the same period last year.
