Influencer Shamar McCoy Arrested for Alleged Assault in November Incident

Reality star Shamar McCoy was arrested on misdemeanor battery charges after he and his boyfriend allegedly assaulted a man, according to court documents. He was taken into custody Monday and released hours later after posting a $2,000 bond. The alleged incident occurred in November 2024 at the home of Quentin McDowell, following a phone dispute between McDowell and McCoy's boyfriend, Alexander Green. McDowell told police Green punched him repeatedly, threw him to the ground, and kicked him, with video of the attack posted to Instagram. A witness also told police McCoy kicked McDowell in the head before the couple and their group left in a burgundy Jaguar SUV. The case stems from the earlier altercation, with both men facing allegations related to the same event.
