Green Bay Zoo stops searching for escaped otter, Louie

Louie, a North American river otter, is no longer being sought by the Green Bay Zoo after choosing to live in the wild following his escape in March. Louie and another otter, Ophelia, escaped the zoo on March 20th, but only Ophelia was recaptured. The zoo ended the search after receiving reports suggesting Louie is healthy and thriving in his new environment. The zoo believes Louie is surviving well, having been born in the wild. They are now working to find a new companion for Ophelia.
