French biathlon Olympic champion Émilien Jacquelin will make his professional road cycling debut on August 16, just months after winning gold at the Winter Games in Antholz. Riding for Team Decathlon-CMA CGM, the 31-year-old will also compete in the Tour du Limousin from August 18-21. Jacquelin joined the team's development squad in May and recovered from a broken collarbone to earn his first professional race starts. The five-time biathlon world champion won relay gold and pursuit bronze in Antholz. Targeting the 2030 French Olympics, he must rejoin the biathlon team by early September or risk missing the season.
