Five thousand people remain in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region

Approximately 5,000 people remain in the frontline city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, with about 5,200 in the entire community. Local authorities are continuing evacuation efforts, though they are sporadic due to difficult logistics and constant enemy shelling of most routes. This figure is down from around 6,800 residents in late August, despite ongoing shelling of the city.
