Few want celebrity political opinions

Most people are not interested in celebrities sharing political views, with only 8% wanting to hear more from them on such issues. Polling indicates that 60% of people ignore celebrity political statements, and only 5% trust celebrities for political opinions, preferring family, friends, or no one. While a majority find it acceptable for celebrities to raise awareness, they are less supportive of encouraging protests that might break the law.
