Federal Police Investigates Flávio's Lawyer Friend in INSS Operation

Brazilian federal police executed new search and seizure warrants Tuesday in Operation No Discount, investigating improper deductions from INSS pensions. Targets include lawyer Willer Tomaz, described as a "friend" by presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro. Police searched Tomaz's home in Brasília's Lago Sul neighborhood. Supreme Court Justice André Mendonça authorized the action, with police identifying Tomaz as central to an alleged money laundering and criminal organization scheme. Authorities claim his structure operated as a financial hub benefiting Senator Weverton Rocha, including a R$6 million house purchase. Tomaz denied involvement, stating the operation stems solely from his aircraft ownership used privately by Rocha. Police also targeted Rocha's relatives, with his wife receiving over R$11 million from Tomaz-linked companies. The investigation began in April 2025 following identification of unauthorized association fee deductions from pensioners.
