Father Dumitru Staniloae proclaimed saint at Cernica Monastery

Father Dumitru Staniloae has been proclaimed a saint, allowing the faithful to venerate the relics of the "theologian of divine love." A local proclamation ceremony for his canonization is taking place at Cernica Monastery, officiated by Metropolitan Teofan of Moldova and Bucovina. This event follows the general proclamation in Bucharest earlier this year. Staniloae, a prominent 20th-century Orthodox theologian and confessor, was imprisoned during the communist regime and is recognized for his extensive theological writings.
