Eufy unveils on-device AI ecosystem at IFA with new security devices

Anker's Eufy unveiled a new AI ecosystem at IFA in Berlin, centered on the MindBase hub that processes data entirely on-device, avoiding cloud reliance and subscriptions. This approach aims to enhance home security while addressing privacy concerns. The MindBase connects Anker's security, energy, cleaning, and audio devices via the EasyOmni Link platform, with Matter support for Apple, Amazon, and Google ecosystems. New Eufy products include a radar-based Smart Security Shield sensor with facial recognition up to 30 meters, a $300 3K video doorbell, and an eight-channel NVR system with 2K cameras. Eufy also introduced a fall-detection wall sensor and a $70 window camera. While core features have no monthly fees, premium options may require subscriptions. Anker plans to consolidate its brands under the Anker name, potentially phasing out the Eufy label.
