Chinese fans denied boarding at Bangkok airport after chasing celebrity, delaying flight

The incident prompted an apology from the airport over a security guard's alleged discriminatory gesture. The fans followed a Chinese artist onto Thai Airways flight TG674 to Beijing, entering a lounge without authorization and later refusing to comply with boarding document checks. The airline closed the cabin door to prevent them from boarding, citing safety concerns and potential disruption. Twelve of the denied passengers agreed to unload their luggage, while ten refused and clashed with staff. This marks the second recent conflict involving Chinese fans in Thailand, following a July 25 incident where a fan was slammed to the ground at an event.
