Brother-in-law murders sister-in-law in Chhattisgarh after she refuses marriage proposal

A man allegedly murdered his sister-in-law in Chhattisgarh after she refused his marriage proposal following an evening of drinking. The accused, identified as Aman Kumar Semre, reportedly forced alcohol upon the victim, Preeti Semre, and then strangled her when she declined his advances. He then slept beside her body overnight. Fifteen bottles of alcohol were recovered from the scene. The victim's mother discovered the body and alerted authorities, leading to the accused's arrest.
