BISE Rawalpindi Class 9 results: 37.56% pass rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi announced Class 9 annual examination results on Wednesday, with only 37.56 percent of candidates passing. Of the 121,739 students who appeared, 45,724 were declared successful. A total of 76,015 candidates failed, while 2,354 were absent and 337 admission forms were cancelled. Male students recorded a 27.99 percent pass rate, while female students achieved 46.48 percent. BISE Chairman Dr Iqbal Mahmood stated the examination system is being improved under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision of transparency and merit. He congratulated successful candidates and advised unsuccessful students to work harder for future exams.
