Bhaktinagar station in Rajkot receives modern upgrades under Amrit Bharat scheme

Bhaktinagar railway station in Rajkot has been modernized under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, featuring upgraded passenger amenities and infrastructure. The redevelopment, costing Rs 26.80 crore, includes a new concourse, AC waiting halls, improved access, parking, and enhanced sanitation, serving an average of 4,700 daily passengers. The project also involved constructing new foot overbridges and installing lifts, alongside landscaping and improved lighting, to enhance passenger experience.
