Barnstable woman charged with threatening golfers with replica pistol

A Barnstable woman, Chrystal Lawson, 39, was arrested for allegedly threatening two golfers with what looked like a pistol at Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when she confronted the golfers from the woods. Police responded to the scene after the golfers called for help. Lawson was later found at her home, where officers discovered two rubber guns and a replica pistol magazine. Lawson faces two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. She was booked and released on personal recognizance, with an arraignment scheduled for Friday in Barnstable District Court.
