Bankrupt Swedish owner of Nöjesguiden and Kingsize lays off all staff

dn.se (Swedish)

HKM Media Group, owner of Swedish magazines Nöjesguiden and Kingsize, has filed for bankruptcy. All employees have been given notice, leaving Nöjesguiden's future uncertain. Editor-in-chief Frasse Levinsson confirmed all Nöjesguiden staff, including himself, were dismissed. He has not been contacted by owners about their plans. The bankruptcy was first reported by SVT's Kulturnyheterna. Despite the setback, Levinsson believes Nöjesguiden will survive, describing it as "a cockroach that refused to die." DN has sought comment from HKM Media Group.
