Ava Crean becomes youngest national women's champion at Dublin Marathon

Ava Crean, 19, is the first Irish woman to win the national title at the Dublin Marathon, finishing sixth overall. Crean achieved a time of two hours and 34 minutes in challenging wet and windy conditions, becoming the youngest national women's champion. She began running during the Covid-19 pandemic and discovered a passion for long-distance challenges.
